Founded in 1988 with the sole purpose of developing a strong corrosion resistant pole, the original focus of Lancaster
Composite has not changed. A clearly defined goal has concluded the demanding commercial product development process and delivered
the most efficient design possible. Lancaster has successfully incorporated the demanding design criteria of conservative
waterfront civil engineers and delivered a piling product that clearly embodies the government's call for Best Value. The
standard of quality has been defined.
<p>
The president of Lancaster Composite, Robert H. Greene is also the inventor of the patented CP-40 composite piling and
remains actively engaged in the daily engineering, ongoing research and quality assurance of the piling production. Hands
on dedication to a quality product, delivered in a timely fashion, has been the cornerstone to serving the market for a
corrosion resistant and environmentally friendly structural piling.
<p>
Recently Lancaster has appointed Northeast Concrete Products, Plainville, MA, as the licensed manufacturer of piling
production in North America. NECP is strategically located along the northeast corridor and easily services the New
England coast from New York City to Portland, ME. NECP is a national leader in the prestressed concrete industry and
is integrated within the network of PCI certified production facilities throughout North America. The alliance with
NECP allows Lancaster to be immediately associated with the reliable manufacturing performance of PCI certified
facilities and personnel, for the production of their fiberglass/concrete composite piling.
